Project Details
Larch is a planed dry board. The sides can be rounded or beveled at different angles.
Larch is often called a facade or facing board, as it is widely used and used for external and internal cladding of house facades, cottages, saunas.
Arbours, porches and other simple buildings, as well as fences and similar structures, elements of landscape design can be also built from larch.
Larch is often used for internal walls and ceilings. By mixing boards in different widths you can create a sophisticating look and variety to any wall.
By leaving gaps between the boards (technological gaps) you will provide additional ventilation for the mounted structure. Besides that if there will be a mechanical damage on one off the boards, you can easily replace just that one without disassembling the structure, in comparing to the walls sheathed with a grooved board.
The properties of larch are also widely known: strength, flexibility, moisture resistance, heat resistance. These are excellent characteristics for using planken from Siberian larch outside. It can be exposed to temperature differences between summer (+30) and winter (-25) (on average) plus winds, rain and snow and still successfully pass these tests.
And of course, the unique beautiful texture of the larch will aesthetically embellish the decor of any house facade.
